Parinfluenza vaccine?
Am I having a brain cramp here? One of the places I just checked for boarding said the dogs must have a parinfluenza vaccine. What is this?

Depends on your area. Some areas have a problem with this and since we go to shows, knowing there are dogs from everywhere, my dogs have it. Even though Femka does not, she could be exposed to it. Parinfluenza can be quite serious, the vaccine does well with few to none in complications. Parinfluenza is like parvo in that it hits fast and hard so the vaccine IMO is worth it.

As Borzoimom said, most combo vaccines will cover parinfluenza.
Except around here, getting the A (Adrenovirus?) isn't the norm. Most vets will suggest DPPL (Distemper, Parvo, Parinflueza, Lepto), but we get DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parinfluenza.) |

Can you have your vet do a titer for it and is the boarding facility willing to accept a good titers score?
