My Yorkie

My Yorkie was scratching so bad all the time on his ear. We noticed that his ears were bleeding, we cleaned them up and took him to the vet, she diagnosed him to have an ear infection. We are treating him now.

Poor guy - Loki often gets ear infections too. To help prevent, after bathing you can mix a solution of 50/50 vinegar and water. Make sure there are no cuts before using the solution in the ears though.

Its only been 3 days but he seems to be a little better. The smell is unbearable but other than that his ear seems to be clearing up, hes not scratching as bad. The vet has us first clean his ear with cidar vinegar using a cotton ball, it kills bacteria I guess and then we started putting the lotion on it. he didn't like it but its helping.
