Looking for a basset hound

Hello everyone i just joined I am looking for a basset hound in hawaii... I am moving there in 2 weeks and we would like to get a basset puppy.. I tried to find out how to bring a puppy in without the pup being quantine for 120 days but noone seems to know... For a dog to be immetily released from the airport it has to have 2 rabies not within 90 days of each other and not within 90 days of arriving in hawaii and also a rabies titier but can't arrive in hawaii before 120 days of the lab reciving the bloodwork. So if anyone can help me with finding a pup or getting around this quantine thing since a 9 week old pup can't have rabies yet what do i do. Sorry to make tyhis so lenghy

It depends on what you really want in your dog. You may just want to go to a shelter and look around. Otherwise, research some good breeders, if you find ones who ship, they'll know the paperwork, having done it before.

thanks for the tip i've tried to find a basset rescue in Hawaii but no luck, I also emailed a couple breeders but none have gotten back to me and the one that did knew nothing about hawaii having a quatine. If you know of any good basset breeders please let me know. Thanks
