gunky green eye gunk?

Mason has some gunky green eye gunk in his eyes in the AM. I would call my vet but my throat won't allow me to talk, lol. So, hopefully after some hot tea and a few cough drops I'll be able to talk again.

I noticed that Kodie has some, too. She's had conjunctivitis before. I think. I'd have to ask Jake if that's what the vet said it was. It was before my time. Anyway, what do you all think?

If there is no tearing or scratching I would use some antibacterial eye ointment for a couple of days and if there was no improvement see a vet.
The more green it is the more I would worry, and if it is weepy or seems to annoy him that's a red flag, too. If more than one did it at the same time I'd see a vet asap.

Yep, that's what I do - we have something in the UK that you can buy over the counter for humans that's suitable for dogs.

Remember to wipe the applicator with a clean tissue before putting it in the next eye otherwise you could spread infection between the eyes.

It does sound like conjunctivitis...
