Thumbs down Prayers for Perky please..

we are getting really worried about Perky. about a week and a half ago she took a nap and woke up limping..we were like "what the heck" but let it be, how much damage could do have possably done in her sleep? wel 4 days later she was still limping, so off to the vet, Perky Ruptured a Crucial ligiment. the vet put her on Metacam and 6 weeks of bedrest, if that doesnt work she would need surgery. well the problem is now not so much the crucial ligiment..its the side effects of the metacam, if they start vomiteing you take then off and the side effects are supposed to go right away, exept in rare cases in which it is a sign of something serious as metacam can cause renal failer and death. well Perky has been off the metacam for a few days now and she is getting worse not better. yesterday she was gobbling the mild food the vet put her on, last night she held it down, this morning she threw up her breakfast, she has not pooped since Tues., she wont even look at food anymore, she is sleepy, uncomfortable, panting and stumbling. she is going back to the vet first thing in the morning, please pray that she will be ok, you never think that the rare side effects will happen to YOUR dog, it was just supposed to take down the swelling not cause her harm

ok a bit more detail..Perky was really uncomfortable all night, panting, crying, pacing all night, so my mom took her to the vet first thing, standing outside the door waiting for them to open at 8. they did some blood work, her liver enzyms are elevated but not by much so she isnt to worried. Perky was dehydrated though and put on IV, but they think the metacam may be causing an ulcer, so she was put on medication to settle her tummy and another to prevent an ulcer. if she is feeling yucky again tomorow she has to go back for another IV. and the vet only charged for the bloodwork being as the meds they gave her caused the problems in the first place.
