    Does wax go bad???

I wax my eyebrows. Usually I go to a salon to get it done, but a few months ago i decided what the heck, I'll try it myself. I went out and bought a wax kit, and did my own eyebrows, and they looked great. I did them a few times, and then BLAH, got lazy. So I tried to do them last night, and the wax wouldnt grip the hair. Its still sticky, just doesnt seem sticky enough.

    So, does wax go bad?

I suppose it could!.If the texture looks bad,I would get some new wax, most of all,if you're using on yr face!.Not worth risking an allergic reaction!.

If you don't like a wet, shedding dog, don't get a Golden or an Hovawart!.

It's very rare that it does, but it can happen. What's more likely is that your brows were a bit more oily then normal so the wax and strips could grab on to the single hairs. If you have a beauty supply shop near you get your wax from them and ask them about pre-wax powder. It's put on the brow first to help absorb any excess oils and help the wax do it's job.

The wax looks the same as it did the day I bought it. I will look into the powder though... thanks!
