Metronidazole, Flaygl
I should know this.. but with I've never had this issue with Louise, even right now. Ollie is having accident after accident, every time I turn around there is pee on the floor. Then I thought, I wonder if has to do with his meds. Has anyone had any adverse reactions, such as excessive urination, thirsty etc (we call it P/U, P/D in vet medicine). I looked it up and found in the human medicine stuff that is does sometimes cause excessive urination. Couldn't find anything in veterinary medicine about it.
I feel bad now.. I kept yelling at him, and flicking his nose for having accidents. Now I think it wasn't his fault! It was the metronidazole. |

It may cause excessive urination, but does it cause incontinence? If not, he's still in training order, just with more pee outings.
Had to laugh at the thread title though, I thought it was a really big typo.

Good point Moo! And then.. it's just a matter of the timing, since Ollie is still in the process of learning how to tell mom he has to go potty rather than just taking a break from the rough housing with Weezy and peeing.
