This girl has been killing me!

I have been trying to save this girl for months, and just recently she has came up urgent.
It was seeming as if every rescue was ignoring my pleas, this girl is in the same area Izzy was.
Finally Illinois Doberman Rescue stepped up and said they would help!!!! I just need to figure out to get her from there to the Chicago area.

Kudos to Illinois Doberman Rescue!

I'm really hoping I can help. Our transport vehicle that has good gas mileage seems to be needing repair. I'm not sure I could safely fit her into my small grand prix. I'm getting a much busier schedule, but I'm sure I could find a way, even if I had to pick her up the day before and let her stay a night or so. Wapakoneta is a little more than an hour from me. Would just need an idea of where I'd need to get her to, but I'm not sure we could go very far with the vehicle. I could pick up and go a little over OH/IN border? It all depends where you need to pick up or what routes you wanted to take, etc. I'm sorry that I'm not sure I could get him much further with the possible vehicle situation. I know it isn't much, but maybe enough to help?

I hope AG can help you, this girl needs help bad! Will you foster her? Her write up states she does not get along with other dogs, I hope this will not decrease her chances for adoption. She just needs a loving home to destress her

Update: Our transporting vehicle DOES work. We took it to a trip up to just over the border of MI and into Toledo and back, and it is fine. It is a Pacifica, so will more comfortably fit the big girl. All I need to know is what days or times. I'm available on weekends except on Saturday mornings, and I should be available every day next week.

UPDATE: I called the shelter this afternoon to let them know I had found a place for her at Illinois Doberman Rescue, and she just confirmed with the Michigan rescue, they are going to take her. She should be picked up Friday morning.
I will call back Monday to be sure all went as planned.

A little frustrating, I worked so hard to get a spot for her, but the MI rescue is good.

Thanks assortedagility, looks like we will have to wait for another.

Sadly, there will always be more to help. I'm glad this girl got her saving grace, and hope she finds a very good home with the help of the MI rescue.
