DARN PUP!! Is this a 911 moment or not?

I let Adora out to go potty in her little play pen when I got off work. I went back into the house to feed the cat and use the restroom myself and when I went back outside to bring her back in (entire 5minutes I was gone) a piece of styraphone got blown into her play area.

I don't know how much she ate, but I know she ate some cause she chewed up a chunk an swallowed it before I was able to wressle it from her. Should I get on the horn and talk to the vet asap?

Calling the vet is free, if she ate enough if it she could get an impaction, so if you think it was a fairly large chunk I'd probably at least call and ask.

Better safe than sorry to make the call. I'm 99% sure she'll be fine but while you're on the phone, you should ask who is available in case you have to bring her in over the weekend.

How is she doing? I hope she's alright.

This reminds me of when Denali was little - I had a pillow stuffed with those Styrofoam beans and Denali went pooh and it had a whole bunch of those white beans in it and I about died, I thought they were some kind of eggs or something... until I went inside and found the pillow (thankfully I found the pillow before getting to the phone to call the vet).

"Styrofoam! You don't know the power of styrofoam!!!"

Sorry, Bolt moment. I'd call the vet. Dixie has eaten masses of foam, though not styrofoam. She was always okay, but better to be safe then sorry.

She's okay, my husband's best friends wife is a vet so we called her and asked what we should do. She said to make her throw up just in case. So she got some peroxide and had a nice barf session, poor baby. She threw up a good amount of styrofoam and a TON of food! I think her grandma gave her an extra meal before we picked her up yesterday. LOL

She's eatin, drinkin, chewin, beatin up everyone, and poopin like normal. So I'm no longer worried. Thanks everyone!!
