Not again! More limping

I just noticed it this morning, but I guess my parents saw him last night doing it a little and getting worse. This morning he didn't want to step or stand on his left front leg.

As he moved around he got to where he was standing on it, but just the front toes. He hobbles bad when he walks and will only dash for a few sec before hobbling or sitting down. I checked his leg all over good twice and can't find ANYTHING!

His paw pads aren't cut or split, nothing between his toes.
Toe nails look as always (little longer than should be, but not split or twisted).
His elbow seemed OK on rotation.
His shoulder joint made a snap as I rotated it, but is fine other wise.
His wrist joint seems good on rotation, but at this point if its any of them, this is my suspect #1.

I don't know, I'm just lost with him as he hasn't gotten much better since he woke up. It almost seems as if its a muscular or tendon problem, not joint, So I just don't know. He's doesn't seem in any pain, he just limps on that leg (Can't tripod, because of his shape, so he must walk on it). I can make him just stand on it OK without a problem, just wont walk right on it. If he's not better in a few days, my plan is to shoot him up with an extra Adequan dose. But if he's not good in a week or so, I'm going to have to take him in to the vet again. I will also add, because of the nice whether I have been walking him more in the woods. I started him up SLOWLY, a few extra mins each day. We took two long walks yesterday, morning-early/evening-around 4, and he was absolutely fine after both, just started about 9:30PM?

Just wanted to update. He got much worse yesterday afternoon. He didn't want to walk on that leg at all! So I got down again and started to go over it better. I squeezed and pinched all around till I get to the pit of the elbow area, and he started to shake, really bad! I believe now, that somewhere along the way he's pulled a muscle or tendon in/around his elbow area. So, there really isn't anything much I can do for him, but I did slip him a benedril last night so he'd sleep till morning.

Happily, he is **** MUCH better right now and is walking on that leg again, but still limping. Problem is, I can't live for the rest of his life with a LoveSeat sitting upside down in the middle of my living room floor! So, I am going to sooner or later have to kick him off from it for good I'm sure. I keep saying that, but next thing you know he's good again and it just seem cruel he can't see out the window any more. Don't worry, we've been "front door" shopping the past year, and I'm itching for one with a window low enough just for him.

I am glad you finally found out what it was. I was going to say Buddy was limping the other day and I could not find anything wrong. I finally found him licking his paw and saw a pink bump, he must have been bitten by a red ant He is ok today. Glad your guy is better today. The window door is a great idea.
