Worms
Jinx has worms. I saw a white one, uhmm hanging out this morning.
Is there any medicine I can give him, without taking him to the vet? I think it may be tapeworms. Aren't they white and flat? He will go to the vet if need be, but thought I would ask if there is something I could give him.

Drontal should take care of it but it's usually use more as a prevention than a treatment!.
Bring a stool to the vet and have it,analysed!.Normalyl that should be enough, for him to give you,the treatment!. What is DRONTAL: The standard of care in broad-spectrum deworming for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. Drontal for cats and Drontal Plus for dogs eliminate:
Ask your veterinarian about deworming your pet with these products: DrontalŪ, available in tablets for cats and kittens 4 weeks of age and older, effectively removes hookworms, roundworms and tapeworms. Not for use in kittens less than one month of age or weighing less than 1.5 lbs. Drontal PlusŪ, available in tablets and chewable Taste TabsŪ for dogs and puppies 3 weeks of age and older, effectively removes hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms and whipworms. Not for use in dogs weighing less than 2 lbs. or puppies less than 3 weeks of age. Do not use in pregnant animals. Only your veterinarian can diagnose and treat an intestinal parasite infection in your pet |

Thanks G&H! He is on monthly HW preventative, and I thought that it prevents most parasites. I am sure he is eating alot of nasty things.
I will call my vet and ask him if I can bring him a surprise from Jinx. He liked Apollo's lump so well that he kept it for a month! I am sure he will be excited! LOL |

You might be able to just drop off a fecal to the vets, if they have seen him recently.

First a lump and now some poop?...your vet will be ecstatic!!! All my pooches are on HW also, BUT..correct me if I am wrong. If a dog eats poop that flies laid eggs on...I think they can get worms.
