Tallie isn't feeling good

I had all of the wolfkids yearly shots done today. I got up this morning and when i went out to clean the pens out i seen that Tallie has some blood in her stool. So i can back in the house and called the vet. And she came out and i told her before she came to go ahead and and lets just do all of the yearly shots for all of them.

Well come to find out that Tallie has a infection in her belly and in her large and small intestines . So i had to go to the vets office and pick her up some meds she has to take Metronidazole 1 tablet 3 X aday for 6 days they are 500mg. Has anyone else ever here of this before. I asked the vet what caused it and she told me that they could pick it up thru the air. It is like a stomach flu or intestial flu.

Give Tallie a hug for me. Hoping she is on the mend and back to herself very soon.

Poor Tallie! Hope she feels better soon. If it is like a flu or stomach virus, is it contagious for the others? Extra hugs and kisses coming her way.

That was what i was woried about. I asked the vet if the other ones could get it and the vet said more then likely no. I just hope not because after everyone got their yearly shots and parasite screenings and the meds for Tallie it costed me $600.02 cents. But they are worth every penny of it. There is no way that i would have a animal if i couldn't have what that they need.

I was just wondering. I know if you get a sick kid, usually the others will catch it too!

Our animals are so expensive, but it is an expense worth having. Hope she feels better soon.

Yikes! That is expensive. I think I would still not let them drink from the same water dish just to be sure.
