Local Shelter in Trouble with the Law

So a few months ago a huge thing arupted about the local shelter.

There where huge claims about how they torture and kill LIVING healthy dogs.

I am talking throwing live dogs in fires to burn, beating there brains out with hammers, shooting them out back, letting kittens go in fields and playing find and shoot the kitten.

Terrible things went on.

I am not really sure what was decided. Of course the workers there deny EVERTHING.

I have been to this place. Lets just say it gave me the CREEPS. On their site they have a link to some thing that the ASPCA and HSUS wrote about there shelter. I really dont get where they got this stuff from. It says there cleanliness is amazing. When I went there I barely wanted to touch anything because it was so grose.

The kennels where tiny and even huge dogs had very little room. It was dark and sad and needed even some new paint BAD.

The cat room was pretty nice. It was just a big "free roaming" room. It was nice but it wasnt that clean.

The whole outside looked REALLY junky.

I thought the whole time I was there wondering what was going and if odd things where happening there. My parents thought the same thing.

There is a meeting tonight about it all. They want the publics opinion on what to do I guess. I think we are gonna go.

Here is some links on it...
There website- (the pics on the site of the place are NOTHING like it looks like now)

Older story about it- (some graphic description in it)

A petition to stop it-

The Blog where it all started I guess-

You can type Cecil County SPCA Abuse into google you can get a ton more info.

I am so sickened and hope to learn more tonight. I would love to be able to get in there and help change things.
