Brain Damage?

I recently got a male pug puppy. He was born on Jan. 17 2005, so he's still little yet. My sister has a cat and they like to play and run around the house a lot. Sometimes they will take of running and will run through the door way and Toby (the pug) will run right into the wall by the door way. I think he does this because he isn't paying attention to where he is running while he chases the cat. When he hits the wall hard and it's really loud, so i'm afraid he's going to really hurt him self. Could this cause him to have brain damage? Should I take him to the vet?
Thanks!

Only if he knocks himslef out and you notice him having trouble with things like balance, or if he has as siezure, or he has paralysis, things like that. It is really not a good thing for him to be doing though, maybe you can get them to stop playing like that, by distracing both of them when they are with a squeaky toy or ball.
