I think so! How exciting! I can't wait to see pics of these little guys! You're going to have to take a picture of them with your hand near by, so we can see how small they are! I've never seen pups that small, when mine were born they were huge!

I would leave her alone from now on. Maybe check on her quietly without her seeing you?

You sure have been waiting long enough!!! How exciting! Have you had a lot of sleepless nights? Here's my little story....it might help pass the time for you...

I was pretty lucky with my dog's birthing. It was not too long after we rescued my dog, Lady. She was in really bad shape when we got her. The vet said she would have starved to death soon if we hadn't gotten her. I got her weight up and her looking good and my neighbor's Rotti got into our yard and bred her. I didn't know anything about breeding, so I started researching....

I guess I estimated her due date wrong... I was thinking it was going to be a week later. The day she had her pups I remember I was at school talking to my friend. As usual I was talking about my animals and how excited I was for the pups. Thinking they were still a week away... I told my friend I hoped there would be 3 brown ones like Lady and 3 Rottie looking ones like the daddy....

When I checked on her before bed she was already in labor and had two pups. The first pup was dead. I couldn't revive it. It was a brown like her. I helped her out through the rest of her labor and the last puppy, the runt, wasn't breathing. So I rubbed and shook him and he was fine. That night she had 6 pups! 3 brown and 3 black/tan!!!

I ended up keeping the runt... even though the two female black/tan were gorgeous! I figured he wouldn't survive without me... the difficulties with his birth and he also fell into our pool and almost drowned!!! He's been fine since, well except for a cut up ear that was pretty scary!

yea zoe was a suprise from my hubby.....he was at work and i was on the phone with the breeder...i was asking her when her next litter was due and she was telling me she only breeds once a year...so now i was sad and i really wanted a lh female...so zach gets home like 3 hours later and walks in the door.

and i started telling him the breeder we know didnt have anymore pups and how down i was feeling ..then he pulled out this tiny little fur ball...and it was the puppy i was just on the phone asking about..and she told me she had already found a home for her...man i was so freacking happy.. ever since she is my little princess
