might be an allergy, i dont know if its ok or not, but id be a little leery of anything foreign in or near my eyes, anytime anyway, but thats me. my puppy is nippy, i am not comfortable with his teeth near my face, cause he nips when he's licking when he's excited.

i think eyes are pretty sensitive to anything foriegn in them, even sweet puppy slobber, and im with comfort80 here, i was giving my puppy some nose snuggly's last night and he decided to test his 5 week old razor teeth on my honker, quit panefull

I could be related to the saliva, or just your rubbing the saliva off. I peronally wouldn't let my dog lick my eye because of all the "what ifs" including.. the what if he licks the contact lense right out of my eye.

Now, that would not be fun! I discourage the eye area. Who knows what they've just licked. Eyes do get irritated and infected so why take the chance?

LOL! I'd like to see you pull that off Moo! Can you wiggle your ears and cross your eyes too?

I don't let Lilly lick my face at all. I'm a meanie but she doesn't mind. If she was allowed she'd lick everyone who came into our house.

I agree with Leslie - who knows which end they have been licking before they lick your face.
