Saturday Shelter Raid..

I spent my Saturday driving to the east side of the state to pick up a dog and maybe 2 cats.
I got the dog and 2 cats (the cats were there since early Feb).

I would like to thank Beverly Hills Chihuahua for causing another blast of Chi's and Chi mixes in the shelters. Just as soon as the Hollywood pocket pooche influence was calming down.. the movie comes out and bam.. back in business of pumping out Chi puppies.

Big dog person, me, could not leave them. They all take up as much room as one dog I'm used to fostering! LOL The small dog area had a least 2 to a cage, so I set out to spring some of them. Tomorrow they will be distributed to foster homes and one or two will go to my former rescue who adore Chi's.

Here's a peek.. Oh and the 2 cats turned into 5 all females. My Jay doesn't like adult males, only the girls and babies.

Warning! Don't anyone say you love and want any cuz I'm likely to put them on a plane ot you tomorrow!!! LOL

I named this one Adam after the cool dude on AI. I think this guy is a Chi x Min Pin and he's got the best of both and none of the worst of either! Super cute!

Elliot is a smaller young one. Bigger than Chi's but I don't have a clue what he is! He's super social, friendly and adorable!

Francesca is a sweet heart and already comes to the name I gave her! She was shaved for some reason. Probably some rocket scientist thinking it would help keep her cool in the heat of the area right now. She almost looks like a tiny 10 pound corgi with a tail LOL

Toby is soooooo skinny! I think he must have been running after "dates" for some time. None of these dogs are altered and all were strays.. imagine that!

Princess Chi and her brother (no name yet~ edit: Ainsley will be his name). very nice little ones. Potty trained even! woot! She's actually much tinier than her bro is.

Ainsley a gorgeous blue color with tan accents.

Vivien is the one I did got there for. She's almost a twin to my Ginger but smaller and sleeker. Maybe some Whippet in there? Who knows, pretty girl though.

Whisper is a beautiful little dear head Chi

Last of the little ones but not least is Ziggy! Unique for sure!

And a couple of felines..

Geisha may be my new girl.. she picked me out and doesn't have the Siamese voice LOL Her foot was damaged somehow in the past.

Here's sweet inky black Madeline

Mia was dumped preggo at the shelter. All the babies are long gone but no one stepped up for her.

And Serena aka Ms 'Tude. With other cats anyway. Cool spriggs of fur on her.

Gee thanks. Some call me wonderful others call me nutso! LOL I think it's six of one half dozen of the other LOL

I just got the rest of her story. She had to be trapped to bring in 2 months ago and at the time was a wild child. She hurt her foot in the humane cat trap! LOL It's fine and should continue to heal up more. She's an absolute affectionate loving pur cat now! It just looks scabbed or scared some is all. She is perfect otherwise! My old baby Sugar, who passed last year, was all white with blue eyes. I think she sent me Geisha girl LOL I know, I'm strange!

I love Ziggy, makes me think of a tiny pocket Akita or something. I probably shouldn't say that, might give some idiot BYB an idea. For the record, NO I don't want him, I tromp around here in steel-toed boots and I am NOT graceful. I'd break the poor thing.
