problem
My female Pandy, who is only going to be 1yr, has never had a heat.
BUT the other day her belly looked distended. I figured she ate something, or too much. BUT her vulva is also swollen. Maybe she did eat something and maybe she is swollen because her heat is coming on. Since Sharon is expecting I thought I'd use the stethoscope to listen for tummy girgling. I might just be paranoid but I swear I hear heartbeats. Her are a couple pics please tell me what you think. She is going to the vet tomorrow or Friday....tomorrow if they have a cancelation! When I told the vet receptionist she said to calm down it isn't the end of the world. She said because she is a toy breed she shoud be fine provided if she is pregnant the pups aren't too big!!! I'm a wreck here! OK tell me what you think please |

Thanks Jenny! She is going to Grandma's in the morning.
He doesn't act any different around her now, never has. When Sharon was in heat, he cried and cried lol |

![]() Thanks again! And she is still going to the vet to see why she is bloated... she is a pig so over eating is a possiblity--but it isn't going down! |

It could be that she's "being pregnant" along with Sharon. Many times, females will hook up onto the same fertility schedule. Carver will produce milk when I have other girls with pups down. Or, she could've had a silent heat for the first time, which isn't uncommon, and is starting her 2nd heat. Let us know what the vet. says.

I didn't see the pictures before but I still don't think she'll be pregnant. I think she's probably just in heat or like Patty said she could be copying Sharon. It's still a good idea to get her checked out though.

She better just be copying. I am taking her in tomorrow, was really
hoping they'd call today to say they had a cancelation! Since she is so small, and mischeivious....I hope she didn't eat anything. (I don't see anything missing LOL) She has become more loving, wanting to sleep under the covers or in my hair...she must be copying Sharon. But I tell you, when I listen to her belly I get scared. Better be her pulse!!! |

Yea they are real fast!
I have read posts here where dogs temp oes back up and then they go into labor. Come on Zoe!! Maybe it went up because things are changing! My mom is dying for puppy pics!! ![]() I showed her Zoe's pics and she went nuts! |
