Thumbs down heat index 102 degree's in fla

And I don't know what to do. I will be gone 8hrs tommorrow. And not sure wether to leave my doggys in thier crates inside for that long or let them stay outside.I'm really worried about the heat but dont want to keep them coupe up that long.
Norm they are out side for a few hours a day. there is a huge shade tree in my yard plus dirt they can dig in under the porch steps and I have water for them.Just not sure if its going to be too much for them being outside from 1030am-6pm
I'm leaning on keeping them in the house.

I would keep them indoors in the A/C. Our walks are at 6am and 8pm with a quick in and out during the day for a wee wee break, it is way too hot and humid now.

I keep my dogs crated while I'm at work, which is usually around 9hrs. I hate to do it, but they would (and have) destroyed the house. I try to take them for a walk in the evening and then just give them outdoor time to burn off their energy.

I would say the crate is the safest option. It's short notice now, but in the future, perhaps you could find a dog walker/sitter that can come and let the dogs out. I know the lady my friend uses charges 15$ for 45 minutes. Plus when my friend was on vacation for a few days, the lady would get their mail and scoop the litter boxes (my friend had somebody who could stay and house sit during the evenings, but wanted to give her dog an afternoon break as well).

We've been in the mid 90's here and there is no waaaaaay I will leave my dogs out for more than 5-10 minutes at a time. I would keep them in taztiff. My husband had a doggie door put in this house when he first moved here. He thought it would be a good thing since he was gone for 8-10 hours a day at work. He came home from work to find one of his dogs laying outside. The dog had had a heat stroke. He ran the dog to the emergency vet but the dog was too far gone. Save yourself the heartache. Keep them in.

Jeez, I thought it was finally hot here at 27 degrees C the humidex is at 32 but I would still take your temps in place of our winters!!

Its been so nice here for 7 days straight , not bad since it snowed June 1.
