[question]adopt a dog is good or not??

I want to ask adopt a dog is it good or not?
I found a coton de tulear in a recuse organization...
He is one years old and
Spay/Neuter
he is up-to-date with routine shots
....
also trained a bit...is it a good idea to adopt him?

I never have a dog before, and I think he is one years old...I think the age is okay...

I am not using this dog for any champion....

The recuse is fee is $350

here is the picture of coton de tulear

I think he is cute....
I will ask about his health, and why he leaf by his owner...
do i need to ask more question(s) about this little coton

Adoption is great, no sane person is against it. Ask any questions you want. Not sure what you should ask since I dont know you.

Do you have any other pets? any children?

He is very cute. good luck.

Adopt! Both mine are pound cases and two of the best dogs - well, I love them at any rate! And as it'll be your first dog I recommend watching The Dog Whisperer. Be prepared to teach and discipline and exercise your new dog. It is a big commitment to do it properly, but the rewards are huge

Adopting is great!! Both my cats are shelter cats and I have 1 rescue dog.

My rescue dog seems to know that I broke him out of the 'joint' and moved him into a loving and caring environment with a roof over his head and A/C coming out the vent . I would definitely rescue again, such a positive experience.

I have a shelter dog (mixed breed) and one (mixed breed) that was dumped out in my neighborhood that we ended up keeping. They are both great and I honestly think I will always rescue. Good luck. Let us know what you decide.

I would research the breed and we have Coton owners here too that can answer any questions and offer questions to ask about them to the rescue.

Oh MOOOOO where are you? Coton expertise needed here! LOL

adopting is awsome! I have 2 shelter dogs, and a mix that was dumped in my naighborhood-deaf, thin and barly able to walk. all are awsome dogs. I know Ladybug(the mix that was dumped) makes me smile every day, watching her get better and better, and seeing her absolute sheer joy of life, it always make my day.
