Careful Watch

Sharon is awake now. She is getting anxious, even puked!
Pupils are REALLY dialated, I looked with a flashlight and they
didn't go down. (can't think of the word, retract?) LOL
Grandma & Papa are calling every so often to check on her.
She still has the clear discharge, haven't seen a plug...
but that might be something she 'takes care of' before we see it.
She is sleeping in the whelp box now.
She actually will not stay in the whelp box, BUT I think it is too big for her.
When she was a puppy, Kody & her would sit in this toy tub for hours.
She still likes to, so we let her use it. Here are a couple pics. She is licking
intermitently, no visual changes 'there'. She is shivering just a tad.
I stepped on the thermometer so have to go get another, Grandma has one we'll pick it up at 5...when we go for homemade pizza (my mom is 100% Sicilian, Italian) Anyway, do you think the make shift whelping box is ok?
I saw where they had used them on a site and cut a hole for enterance.

That is way too cool for Lilly!!!

I think the box will work good for Sharon...it's not too big or too small! Uh-oh...you know what'll happen...as soon as you leave and it's quiet........

You're gonna come home to puppies...

Well, she is coming with us. Can't just leave her.... unless something changes and we don't feel comfortable. We are leaving in 4min so it looks like she is coming.
They live 3min away LOL I told them we have to eat and leave, so it shouldn't be long.
We are taking her whelp tote (lol) so papa can look it over.
We'l check in when we get back

Enjoy your supper...home made pizza sounds awesome...I'm jealous!!! I gotta tell ya though...moving her may upset her from having them. But that could be a good thing, right? Even though she stays at your parents a lot and knows them, it won't be the same as being at home.

I'll be here waiting for your return!

Well, that must have supressed labor! She got in the car, heard the word papa and forgot she was pregnant! She played a little over there. Her temp is 100 now.
She is even munching on some kibble now. Just a couple bites. While we were there we were commenting on the changes in the last few days/week. Her 'front teats' are now saggy too. They had to weigh her lol 33lbs!!

Delicious!!!! And we had nice sweet juicy seedless watermelon!
Sharon is now back in her whelping box, sleeping away!
Do they usually rest up?

You've got it made, girl!

They do rest up before the big event...it's a lot of work, you know! Is she acting normal again?
