Just add puppies!
Well, I have Molly's whelping box done and ready to go. Now all I need to do is have her put some pups in there for me. I made the door on the left with hinges so that when the pups get older, I can just lower that panel. The thermometer is in the back right corner. I have a pully set up for the heat lamp. The base is actually 4" off the ground with insulation under it. Hank thought he should get in the picture too...his butt part of it!
 So Molly, I'm waaaiiiitttting! Although, she's been pretty restful today and in some deep sleeps. The pups aren't very active at all either. Just an occassional tumble. She only ate this morning and I took her temp. and it was 96.7, so....

I'm here
 I'm not whelping yet, but I will be soon. She's been nesting a lot and going potty/poop a lot as well. Oh, did I forget to say she was nesting, in my daughter's BED!!! I had my daughter's concert tonight (remember?!) and put her in her whelping box while we were gone...when we got back, she had it all nested up. She's going for the darker areas in the house too.

She was pleased! She heads out of town tomorrow with her class (for some fun free time to WI Dells!) and won't be back until Saturday evening, so any tiny bit of extra time she can spend with me is always great for her!
She was just by me giving me the "I'm going to miss you so much Mom" hugs!
