Angry Latest

Vet called. They want me to brig her back in for another Xray and exam.
They went on and on about how with small breeds, and given the error in dates, the Xrays should have been taken this week not last. I played their game for about 2min! I asked 'how much will it be?'
The response 'the same as last time around $120' I said no wucking fay!!!
(he-he) The breeder I bought her from has welcomed us anytime ect So, I rang her up today and we are going to visit tomorrow. I'll get her opinion.
She knows of 2 others that had pregnancy confirmed by ultrasound then their girls failed to progress and they blamed it on 'resorption'. One lady, who raises German Shepards in the area, was even suckered into hormone testing and shots. The testing alone was $58 plus office visit per week! Not sure how much she spent on hormone shots or in total with everything. Although in neither of these cases did the girl progress or produce milk, as Sharon has.
If this is infact a case of resorption, this can be useful to others in the future so I am going to just keep posting until we have answers or pups!
(Hoping for pups)
Sharon is resting, no not under the bed-she doesn't fit, right here at my feet. She is attached to my ankles with super hero invisible thread. She won't go down to the basement when I do laundry like she usually does. Today she cried until I came back up.
Thanks to everyone, especially Brooke & Patty, for all the support & advise.
You all are great and have really helped me TONS!!!

I will weigh and measure her tomorrow

We are monitoring her temp. It was 100.2 last night at 730-it is 98.8 this morning.
We'll see if it stays low ect. She has grown alomst 1/2 inch around (although I measured her before she pottied this morning). She hasn't been eating much so I am not sure if she even will have to go today. Her weight today is up 3lbs, from Sunday.

Your vet doesn't sound very good at all. Do you have another one in your area that you can change to?
It certainly sounds like Sharon is expecting and it also sounds like she could be getting close. All the signs sound encouraging.
You're welcome for the help. Thank you also for your support and help during Lilly's pregnancy and since she's had the pups!
I really hope everything goes well with Sharon and I will be very surprised if she doesn't have pups! It definitely doesn't sound like resorption to me!

Sounds like a pregnancy to me and vets who are just out to make money out of you. Just hang in there and look after her good and I'm sure she'll bless you with puppies soon...

We are heading over to our breeders in a few minutes to see what she thinks.
As I am typing she is trying to dig under the computer stand.... HELLO,
if you're too fat to fit under the bed no way will you get under there!!! LOL
I just stood her on her hind legs and looked at her belly-it's big he-he.

Also had to take Kody back to the doc. His blood oxygen level is now down to 93%.
Another ercent or 2 and he will be admitted again. I am going to run into the office this afternoon tho I have important invoicing to do... work totally understands and actually gets upset with me when I choose them over him but there is only so much I can do from home! I figure a couple hours isn't going to hurt much

OK I'll post after we see the breeder.....temp now is 99.1

Well, our breeder is beside herself too. She just suggested watching. She isn't as full in the belly, yet her ribcage is distended...and she has milk bags...and her hind end is swollen.... So wait and see right back where we started. I checked out Stacker, one of her pregnant girls, and she has a 'plug'. Sharon keeps herself very clean and I doubt she'd tolerate that. Did Lilly or Molly have a visible plug? Stacker is due the begining of June. (She is named after Stacker Pickles lol)
We stopped at my mom's and Sharon fit under the guest bed but she came out when I was threatening to leave Then she laid on the floor in the car and didn't want to come out. I'll let everyone know what's going on but unfortunatly we have no answers yet!! Current temp is 100.2

Well at least it sounds hopeful! And in answer to your question no Lilly didn't have a visible plug with either of her pregnancies! I bet Sharon was pleased she could fit under a bed at last

LOL I think she wanted EVERYONE to see she made it under a bed!!
"Look at me, Look at me!!"
Just did the temp thing 99.7. Not sure about this temp charting stuff
seems to have alot of fluctuation! I just snapped a couple pics.
Also at the breeders is a little 9 month old altered boy. She took him back because the people who purchased him allowed their 12yr old boy to abuse him. We were worried because Kody came along. She has been working real hard with him & I have to say it must be working. He preferred Kody to any of us grown ups! He played, jumped on him & demanded his attention! Kody took both Sharon & Harry out into the yard and they all played...well Sharon mostly watched. He is real pretty, teddybear too, he is aburn and white VERY ADORABLE!!! Here are the pics, chck out how swollen her 'girly parts' are, I'll be back later hopefully with updates!
Going to my parents for STEAK on the grill!

No, Molly never had a plug...that I noticed. But, Carver did with her 1st litter and not with the the following ones. Can you see/feel movement still? I would be very surpirsed if she weren't. She's probably has 2 or 3 little guys/gals in there. You're are very welcome for the help...that goes both ways as well...and for you too, Brooke! This is a great forum! But, anyway, getting back to Sharon...she'll have 'em...once you stop plugging her with that thermometer all the time. lol
How was the steak...what, no pizza!!! I'm upset now!

Sorry Patty, we did chicken on the grill tonight LOL
We live too close to my folks! We brought all 3 dogs & everyone had fun.
They are all asleep now. Again tonight Sharon decided when it was time to leave.
Nothing new with her.
Get this though, our regular vet (who has yet to see her for this 'pregnancy')
called me at work today. She wants me to bring Sharon in to her tomorrow
at 330 FREE FREE FREE Now, why isn't the vet who is so unsure of
everything offering this??? Because my vet is BETTER LOL So, I will be takingher in
tomorrow afternoon. I haven't bugged her butt at all today, so I am still on her good side!! Here is a pic of the 2 of us...not very flattering but I've not slept well in days!

Is Bo going to win??? Or Carrie???
