Dog Grooming Classes

I am a proud owner of a 4 month Shih-Tzu and would like to know if there is a class that is offered for grooming dogs. I just bought a home grooming kit and even though I have taken Prissy to the groomers every month I still feel like she needs to be trimmed in between and would like to learn to do this on my own for those in between weeks that she doesn't go to the groomers. Does anyone have any suggestions. She really hasn't been groomed but around the face and bottom area. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Is this grooming as in clipping, or just the day to day combing and such?
If you dog is going to the groomers professionally every month, she doesn't need any clipping in between. I only send my long-hair every 3 months, he grows about an inch per month.

I would go and watch what the groomers do. It might be something you will want to try and then you will have a full understanding of what is done and how.

Simon Says will become famous soon enough
it is always good to do a sanatary clip on long hair dogs, but if you go to your local groomers and ask them they will tell you what to do in between
