How Can People Be So Cruel

I had to take my friends horse out to a trainer today, and on the way we stopped at a little gas station to get a pop. Well there was this little pup sitting (more like huddled) in the corner outside. The lady in the store said that he had been there all day, and that he must have been abandond I said "he is not anymore" and I took him home.... people P**S me off how could you just leave a lil fella like that GRRRRRRRRRR I put an add on the radio and will put one in the paper but I think we will keep him if no one calls.
SHHHH (we call him Roper)
I think he is about 6-8 weeks old he doesn't know how to eat yet. I gave him a small peace of stake (because he dont know what dog food is) and he licked it and tried to suck on it pooooorrr baby.
I will have Buddypalamiga post a picture as soon as I can. I dont know his bread but I think he is part Shar Pae(sp) and Nuffy.

AWWWWW! Poor Baby. Did you try the canned dog food? Sometimes little ones are more apt to eat it. How old do you think Roper is? Love the name by the way.

Have you syringed him some liquids? Or does he drink.

Poor baby. Good for you for rescuing him I wouldn't even put an ad up. Whoever left him there, doesn't deserve him back.

ToyPoodle is on a distinguished road
I'm glad you resuced this poor little fellow sounds like his owners didn't like him very much. That is irresponsible pet owners for you once the novelty wears off they just dump them.I hate it when people impuse buy they never research the animals they get. There like look isn't that puppy cute buy it then once one little problem pops up boom there dump it. i admit i own birds and there sqauwks can be quite annoying but i wouldn't give them up at all.I research all my animals for at least 3 months or more before i decide to get one.If the owners want the dog back i wouldn't give the dog back to them at all.

I missed the vet by 15min yeasterday, but Roper has an apointment first thing today. Im going to get him all his shots and make sure he is ok. If the owners do call now they will have a vet bill also
The poor little guy he wants to be friends sooooooo bad but he is just to scared of people to come to ya. He will come to me, but he realllly has to look and make sure that it is me first. And then when he dose come up to me if I bend down to pat him he moves back first. I think he was hit

I am gald you rescued him!
If he was mistreated, he is still young enough to recover from it with some help from you. Good luck, and share some pictures!
