I would love to see pictures!
Are you keeping her indoors now? I would consider crate training.

Crate training would be a great way to help with house breaking her. Are you familiar with crate training?

Oh, I love hounds...

I don't know alot about the breed but there was a hound like yours in one of the obedience classes I took. She was a very sweet, smart girl. I did crate training with my current dog and find it is a great way to go.

Please post pics, my husband always wanted a red coon hound!!! Crate training is the only way to go IMO!!! Expect messes in the beginning. The crate I would buy is the lifestages (I hope it is okay to mention specific brands) you can put in a divider and make sure the crate is the right size while your dog grows. You do not want it too big or they will poo and pee in it. That is a BAD habit to break!!! Just big enough for them to stand up and turn around, no bigger!!! I have a shih tzu I bought that I got from a guy who shows and he had her in a crate with the grate at the bottom so they can go potty and not mess up their hair, OMG she is nasty!!! I am having a very, very hard time breaking her of this habit. It is so sad because she is such a beutiful dog. I just think he made it okay for her to do that and she does not realize it is NOT okay now.

Sorry, babbling. Good luck with the training, and please post them pictures!!!

I also support crate training.

What are the differences between red tick, blue tick, black and tan, and redbone coonhounds, other than the colouring?

I agree with crate training. I would love to see pictures and a sound file of the "bray" would be great.
