    Chitterlings for raw?

My store has a pretty good deal on chitterlings aka Chitlin's. From what I found out on the net Chitterlings are the intestines of a pig. Dh is not crazy at all about feeding raw pork to dogs, but the price is decent.

OK all you raw people, I'm counting on you. Tell me about raw pork or better yet, if you fed your dogs Chitterlings.

I can't even feed my dog cooked pork...it upsets her tummy.

I thought people fried these up somehow to eat them themselves.

My boys get raw pork every now and again and their fine with it. If your worried why not pop them in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes to kill anything that might be a problem.

Have you ever cooked those things?? Talk about stink!! I know you're talking about giving them raw, but still, you better get a gas mask for sure! Orson's going to run you right out of the house!!

My dogs don't do well on pork either, gives em the trots!

this probley is not very helpful but i think i read a article somewhere that they were not good to feed to dogs for some reason but it was quite a while ago and i can not remember what was said so my advice would be stick in the freezer and research some more to find out for sure

I feed pork. Absolutely no issues over here. And mine also LOVE pig feet!
