Triggers Temp

Triggers temp is 99' for the 3rd day in a row. I dont know why but I expected puppies today. She is 60 days today. Aside from being miserable, and digging into the carpet next to my bed, she is fine. I noticed today though when she piddled she had more discharge than normal. I can't wait, we did an ultrasound at 25 days for pregnancy confirmation. Then the tech at the vets office said they could X-Ray 2 weeks before for a count, took her in, waited an hour and a half because he was running late, but the pups bones were just starting to calcify, so they could not give me a count. They did give me a bill for $40.00 though. After that I decided I will wait and SEE how many she has.

So what do you think about the temp, will it get even lower the closer she gets?

Thanks for the input!!!!

Oh come one Trigger, I am sick of waiting for babies. I am going to have you banned if you don't pop those babies out soon, LOL!. Truly I am sick of baby watch. I have been waiting for a Belgian mare to pop her baby out for a week. Swear she was in labor last Sunday. We even thought she dropped her water, but here we are 6 days later and still no baby. Not even my mare directly. She is kinda like a community mare. Long, sad story. And the mare will be put down once the foal is weaned. This pregnancy will literally be the death of her. That is why it has been so nerve racking.

Sp Trigger, please don't make me wait for babies. I can't tolerate.

Oh, and I am sure your momma doesn't want to wait much longer either...

Yes, I think it will get lower, the closer it gets. I believe at the time of whelp, the mother's temp will reach 98.6 degrees (or human temp).

Still 99'. She is in MISERY!!!!! She looks at me like, you let this happen to me!!!!!!! OH! I took a pic today but am having trouble with my computer unloading my pics so I have to use my sons comp, send them to mine then upload. I will do that tomorrow for SURE!! I hope, I hope, I hope I will have puppy pics to post then too. I can hardly stand to look at my poor girl, she dropped big time yesterday, You can see all the bones in her spine, she is all sunk in, then she has this HUGE weight dragging her down. Keep your fingers crossed for my girl! She is ready to get back to her normal svelte self, Momma here is just ready for her to feel better. Thanks for checking on us!!! Will keep you updated for sure!
