I love those faces. It makes me want to grab some jowl and give kisses.

there characteristics are 100 percent i have 4 children the youngest being 1 and the dogs are brilliant with them. the worst thing in the world is having a dog which when a baby pulls hes tail and then grails. this is not accepptable in any breed. especially the sussex bulldog.for example ijust had alitter of pups about 3 months ago . and they were in the frontroom with the family in a whelping box ,my children were able to pick the pups up from day 1.with this in mind it allows the pups to socalise with humans.the earlyer thr better

Thats great to hear that you socialize them! I did alot of that with Clifford, he was always around my 4 year old neighbor boy. He would also always encounter kids in the neighborhood, he is used to being patted too hard, ears tugged on, and poked a bit. He loves every minute of it.

What is there purpose, are they protection, hunters, sport dogs? Just curious, I have never heard of these.
