Thumbs up I Worked My First Rally/Obedience Trial Today

I was the leash steward today for the Rally Trials. It was great fun and learned so much just by being up close and personal. I saw some amazing dogs and some just like my Lola. Every dog has an off day once in a while. A beautiful Golden in Advanced Rally just wanted to have fun and let loose and ran around the ring, she was disqualified. I felt so bad for the handler One of my classmates in our Rally class entered her Boxer and placed third

I was able to watch the Obedience trials as well. The majority of the dogs were Rottweilers, Labs and Dobies. Gee, I didn't see any Beagles

They have asked me to work the Agility trials in April and I will be joining the obedience club....Oh no, I think I am hooked

Yes, I did, the quality is not good, it was a covered arena and the lighting was bad, the pics are dark.

It is always a fun day at an Obed trial.Glad you got to see what Rally is all about,it is really not that hard. You just have to get over the jitters the first time you go in the ring..

I need to learn to read the signs, count and talk to Lola all at the same time without tripping over my feet Then I am sure we will be fine.

Good for you, helping out is the best way to learn. If you happen to steward and a tall gal, mid 60's with short grey hair is in the ring with a black lab named Missy Bell or Julie Jet. Tell her Sue said good luck and give those girls a Frosty Paw.
