Beagle/Terrier Mix

My friend has a beagle/terrier mix puppy girl. After seeing the cute puppy pictures, I am tempted to get her. Both the parents are purebred - mom is terrier and dad is beagle. What do you think of this mix? Any issues or major concerns? Thanks

Beagles can be hard to train and stubborn and terriers wired - literally. Sounds like a mix that may take up your time training.

But that is just my opinion.

What type of terrier is it? Well, beagles mixed with anything make a cute dog! I just got a bulldog/beagle mix today. Very cute. I don't think I know any problems that pop up in my head. -shrugs-

I agree with Trace but you never know...that dog can make a liar out of us yet Best advice I can give is you remember when Koni was a baby...all the frustration, sleepless nights, vaccines, ahh...just too much for me. If you have any doubts I dont think it would be a good idea. Koni is still pretty young isnt he?

Demi, my puppy, is doing a great start on training. She already likes using the leash, and she hasn't peed in the house yet, she has gone potty outside three times today. I'm very proud of her, but I know the lady who sold her to me already started her training. She is a very loveable puppy, I think they wouldn't be as stubborn when mixed.

Obviously three is some thinking to do before making a decision. I am not sure what breed of terrier. Koni is still young, he turned 1 a few months ago.

I agree with the what type of terrier question. Jack Russel maybe? LOL, have fun with that. All terriers are pretty high strung off the walls... But you have seen her, how do you think her temprament would roll with Koni's?

Definatly depends on what ype of terrier.

My mom had cairns terriers growing up and they were really cool little dogs.

My family loves Beagles.Besides the fact that they can be wanderers, and vocal, they are really cool dogs!

terriers (shudders)
i had a fox terrier for a short time (loooooooooooooooooong story and sad too) and she looked like she always had 1 too many cups of coffee. she would run laps around the house till she got tired, rest for a minute or two, then continue this tilll she got tired.

stubborn little thing she was too.

a picture of my girl when i first got her
