I have a 7mo Lab pup, she is with another dog most of the time, lately though she has learnt how to jump, the others don't bother, but she will scale the fence without touching it, this is ok as she lands in another enclosure, but it is a problem when the baby pups are out, and the other dog she is with keeps barking till I put her back. Obviously we are going to have to build a higher enclosure for her, but in the meantime has anyone got any training ideas for this, so far I have just been putting her straight back in which is about every 10 mins, and growling at her.

How high is the fence? I would suggest a kennel with a top on it. I had a blue heeler that could scale a six foot high wooden fence in 2 seconds flat & be gone. He never got over it. He was a true escape artist.

Thanks DogLover,
The fence is only about 4 feet high, but touch wood, I think I have fixed her, I put up some trellis, have her stumped at the moment, she tried again and landed flat on her big fat labrador bum!!
Little darling, if only she knew she is in the pen so that nothing can happen to her while I'm not around, my neighbours would think nothing of shooting her if she was on their property.
