Don't rush into bathing her but grooming motions should start now. You can start by getting baby wipes or puppy wipes and gently running it over her fur. She should be slowly introduced to brushing in steps. Think of it as learning how to write. You start off with small words, then bigger words, then sentence structure and so on.

Get her used to you touching her especially around her feet, tail and head. Praise her for no reaction ie. being still.

Wait until about 10+ weeks before full bath OR LONGER. I think you should take her to a groomer for her first bath and have them show you how to clip the nails, and talk about various products available to you.

Start playing with her paws, brushing her, rubbing her teeth now. At about eight weeks bathing starts. And pro grooming starts after the third set of shots

Can i also ask when is the best time to start brushing her teeth? Will the powder spray or conditioner spray ok for 6 weeks puppy. For some reason she still smells when we bath her 2 days ago.
Now that i knew it is best not to bath her, i guess i will wait for another week to bath her.

Get the deoderizing wipes and make sure to wipe up around mouth after eating. That's usually what smells unless she's lying in pee in her crate.

These are great as they are relatively cheap and disposable. It also minicks grooming - brushing etc.

I wouldn't use a spray around a pup - they're just too jumpy.

Sprays an those types of things should be hald of on fora few weeks until she is 8 wks. Brush her teeth now with a little baking soda/water mix on a finger brush.
