I have a Pom, too. She's five months old and her name is Cali. Have you been able to housebreak your Poms? How long did it take? Aren't Poms awesome. What a bundle of energy she is. Then at about 10 p.m. she just runs out of gas and goes to sleep. Are your Poms lap dogs? Cali wants to be close to me, but not on me - unless she's really, really tired. I'm hoping she gets to be more of a lapdog.

My Pom died last winter at a ripe old age of 20. I had gotten Friska from an elderly lady who's husband had died and she was having problems with her biting her grandkids when they were over. When I got her she was already 11 yrs old...so I never had her from a puppy. She was never much for being a lap dog, but she bossed the other big dogs around. She hated riding in the car with a passion and having her nails trimmed.
