i'm against any breedmixing...than why for what puprose...
youmay actually say how they'd come out in apperance but not in caracter...thet may be very variable becouse you can never say what genes would be dominant in the puppies

I don't believe in purposeful mix-breeding either. I don't think there's a purpose, and dogs with uncertain futures are being created. The health is a question mark, and even if there is a purpose (i.e. formulating a stronger swimmer w/ hunt drive), you may not achieve what you want the the puppies just end up rejected.

RESEARCH

Look up you favorite breed....check out the how the breed originated.
Uh oh it's a mix of what???

I like mixed breeds, I have 3. Happy shedless home here
The neighbors have a labradoodle for the same reason I have
my little 'mutts'-health of a child. I think that is one
cute, cool, healthy, friendly HAPPY doggy!! & He is chocolate,
can't go wrong with me & chocolate!

I think hypothetically what would you mix...living in a perfect world? There must be some breeds that you'd like to see mixed, isn't there? Although I can't think of any I'd like to mix, at the moment. Cassidy, why would you like to mix those 2 breeds...because of their size, similarities, dispositions,??? I'm just curious as to why you'd choose those, I'm not looking to judge you on it.

Hypothetically..... I think A German Shorthair the size of a great dane would be great.
And think how lovey dovey they'd be!! Beautiful! AND you could hunt BIG DO DO birds LOL I was thinking of a big game bird since they are such awesome hunters....
Big Bird & Donald Duck came to mind LOL
Actually maybe a Poodle (standard) and a Great Dane. I want a Dane sOOOOO bad but they shed. So I might have to wait till Kody is 18, get rid of him and get a Dane!
and they are great with small dogs too I also have to buy my bigger home in the country......blah blah blah...a girl can dream huh?

No worries with me, Whim. We're all entitled to our opinions. We just happen to disagree on this one. Kirby's my buffer in case you and I are ever conflicting. LOL

I think Border Collie/Sheltie would be a cute cross. Then again, they come from the same originating breed anyway.. the Collie.
