Found A Dog!!!

My boyfriend was coming home from work tonight and stopped to get some pepsi and there was a dog under the clerks car. He tried to coax it out but it wouldn't come. He came and picked me up and we grabbed the treats and finally got it out from from under the car. We opened our car door and she hopped right in. She growled at us everytime we would try to touch her while we were in the car. we opened the door to the apartment and she ran right in sniffing everything in sight. She looks quite old so we're keeping her and Jack separated, that and I don't know if she's got anything Jack can pick up. We are only keeping her over night then we are taking her to the humane society. Is there anything else I should worry about? Jack's up to date on her shots. I don't know if this dog is or not. I'm mainly worried about fleas she WAS wearing a flea collar but I took it off of her, I think those things are Sooooo gross.

I would keep them seperate, I am not sure what or if Jack could catch anything. Better safe than sorry. What kind of dog do you think she is?

I doubt it unless she appears quite ill. My worries with a stray would be mange or rabies.

We think it's some sort of collie mix. The humane society is closed on mondays but hopefully someone will be there so we can drop it off today. It has VERY long hair that was all matted up because it was stuck out in the rain. shes got a great temperment. she house trained and she knows "sit" and does it well. Thats all I could get her to do. She wouldn't eat the dog food we gave her but once Jerry got the pizza out of the oven she wouldn't take her eyes off of him.
Jack has not seen her. We figure shes been through enough she doesn't need the jack action.

Yeah, they look old. Is there something specific I should look for? Her eyes are cloudy. I'm guessing she's OLD.

Sounds like your right. Bad teeth, and cloudy eyes seem like signs to me.
Poor thing, I wonder if she is lost?

THe humane Society is closed today so we've got her for another night. I feel bad I have to go for 2 walks tonight. one with bana(thats what her temporary name is) and one with jack. Oh well more excersize for me. I just hope to God she doesn't have anything. *Sigh*
