Ariel just finished her first class (mine too!).
Let me ask everyone's opinion on the word SIT. For me, it's always been for the dog to be looking at me and staying until I release. I have already taught Ariel to SIT. She does it well - whether looking at me or by my side. She will even SIT - Stay for a count of 15. My question is "Do you think I should use "SIT READY" to indicate I want her at my side vs looking at me? |

Ok for me we have three "sits" sit, place, and ready. Place is where they go around me and sit at left side. Sit is where they sit anywhere they hear the command and "ready" is where they come, sit, and look at me. Congrats on your first class. There always tons of fun!
