Mekas "perfume"

Clifford is very fond of the smell Meka is giving off. He is licking her alot, and for the most part she is letting him. I know its not a sexual thing because she is spayed, what is the smell? Is it a yeast infection? If so is there something I can do? She is kinda stinky, I can smell it.

Could be a UTI as well. Weezy had a raunchy smell once.. with no noticeable UTI signs. I brought in a sample.. and she was FULL of bacteria. We put her on some Amoxicillin for like 3 weeks.. and it cleared up!

Does it almost smell like stinky human-women smell?!

Ahh.. just caught that addition.. he could be the reason why she has the UTI. If she has an ear infection and he licks that, then licks her vulva.. he could be passing it for her!!

It's okay.. when Weezy had hers.. I kept telling classmates and others that she had some stinky "cooch". Then I thought I would check her urine.

Okay, I did it, dont tell anyone! Her ears smell fine, just like Clifford slobber, I smelled the other half, and it was ok, it seems maybe I am only smelling it when he licks it.
The STRANGEST thing is she is letting him do it, in most cases she would have bit his face off!

This is a very interesting thread to read!!! I do, however, have something to add. When my Boxer started getting a yeast ear infection her Dad would start licking her ears. I could ofter tell by his behaviour before I could smell anything.

I would keep an eye on her to see if it develops into something or if Dr. Clifford fixed it.

What do I watch for?
Clifford is such a good big brother!
Why is Meka not biting his face off when he does it? Very out of character for her.

Mara...dont tell anyone I know what I did! LOL I dont want to make it a habbit!
