Lightbulb What is...

The best puppy/dog brand food?
I heard that in some dog food, is horses and remains of other dogs.
Like when you take your pet to the vet to be put to sleep, if you dont ask for the body back they sell it to some dog food factory....
But anyway, I dont want to get side-tracted on what I just said up there lol

Whats the best brand for pups and dogs?

~Thanks, JR~

PS im currently feeding my pups Exceed Lamb and Rice Formula

I highly doubt that they would send your dog to a dog food company to be put in food Maybe in like Iraq or something LOL

I dont think they would put horse meat in dog food.

There is no universal "best brand" Every breed needs its different amount of certain vitamins and nutrients.

LOL yea I dont think they put dogs in it but there is one brand and horses to go in it. Mustangs..If they arent adopted on the 7th time they are sent to Europe for steaks and Dog Food Companies. Theres even a book about the horse meat in dog food, Its also a historical writing, It use to go on alot so one activist got it passed as a law but sadly now it was revoked. However the Dogs in Dog food I heard by ear.
Thanks

I would say Large Breed Formula, since you will have a large dog. What I look for is that the food has no by-products.

I just put mine on Eagle Pack Holistic Lamb and Rice.
Before that it was Nutro Max large breed.

My breeder uses Nutro Ultra--so I stayed with it.

A good, reasonable priced food is Nutro. Even Nutro has a good, better, and best.

Mara...I thought the Nutro Ultra, was extremely expensive, the Eagle pack was a bit less expensive and is supposidly a better food. Any thoughts?

Max...you really should keep a large breed like yours on a quality dog food.
