I've never heard of Eagle Natural. For Max, I suggest you look into the brands that supply a Large Breed Puppy formula.

Sorry, never heard of it. I would say you need a puppy formula especially for large breeds but I would check with your vet. I put Poppy on to some Junior food on the advise of a friend who has been "nutritionally trained" on dog food. When I saw the vet last week she asked what I was feeding Poppy on, I gave her the leaflet on the food and she said it wasn't necessary to have her on that and I could put her on to adult food now (she's 1 year old). So I would go with what your vet says.

Have you seen the great dane lady webstie? Its loaded with info on feeding large breed puppies and adults. She seems to highly recommend Eagle Pack (the Natural formula or the LB puppy formula for large growing puppies).
