Unhappy

hello big question here. I have a 8 week old Great Pyrenees ...his name is Apolo.I have had him for 2 weeks and he does not like crate!!! I mean he LITERALLY howls and cries ALL night long (and i mean ALL night long!!)He also cries when i ocasionally leave him in crate while im gone to store or such. I had him in my bedroom for 12 days ...no one is sleeping so ...i moved him to kitchen in his crate. I have feed him in crate ...gave toys, treats, blankets, stuffies ...even put my other dog in with him last night to see if that helped ...NO it did not.My other dog Nevada loves her crate!! This puppy DOES NOT . he literally makes his self physically sick he cries so much ........he doesnt sleep in crate at all .he howls and cries ...he is right this moment ...he sounds like someone stepped on him!!! WHAT DO I DO??????? DO I NOT PUT HIM IN CRATE? ARE THERE SOME DOGS IT MAKES WORSE INSTEAD OF BETTER??? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP !! I LOVE HIM TO PIECES ...JUST DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO . THANKS CHRIS

Try putting a smaller box in the crate with his blanket, a hot water bottle and a ticking clock, cover the crate so that only the front is uncovered, give him a real bone, not a toy one, then shut the door and ignore him. have a sneaky look now and again to see all is ok but don't let him see you. You probably set up a howl, here I am pattern with him in your room, most hate the crate but become accustomed to it in time, the more you reassure him the worse he will be.
