My poor baby after minor surgery...
Pebbles had 2 moles removed yesterday along with a cracked & infected molar. I got a couple shots of her. Poor thing was out of it last night...can't blame her.

Aww, poor girl.
When I had my wisdom teeth pulled they gave me ice cream, how about your girl? Ice cream, yum!!!! LOL!!! Seriously, it may make her mouth feel better. |

Good idea....geez that dog's spoiled lol. She seems fine. We've given her soft food to eat for now. We never could even tell she was in pain before she had the tooth removed...she's pretty darn good at hiding that kind of stuff. But she seems to be doing MUCH better today. Getting back to her hyper self again. Thanks for the advice! Puppy ice cream is expensive though lol.

Animals are great at hiding pain, because of "survival of the fittest". If they show they are weak, then they are subjecting themseleves to danger. Which is why Veterinary Medicine is SOOO complicated.. sometimes we wish they could just TELL us what is going on!!
I'm sure her mouth doesn't hurt as bad as you'd think. Didn't they offer an pain management? My hospital provides Fentanyl patches for 72 hours of pain when removing teeth. |

To be honest, I'm not sure if they gave us anything for the pain. I didn't pick them up from the vet, my parents did. She seems to be fine. She ate some soft food this morning when I was there.
