Max is now on Asprin

Yep the yelping is still going on, The vet has now put him on Half a tab 2 times a day to see if that works, he is now being put on adult food , Too try to slow him down a bit... I sure hope my boy does not have a life of health problems!!!

Do you all think I should call the breeder and let them know whats going on too?

Well, About 2 weeks ago Max was just sleeping woke up and was yelping like mad, Then he was fine.. We went to the vet he check his legs nothing was wrong.. Well he has been doing this now atlest once a week today was 3 times this last time he hurt so bad you could tell he did not even want me to touch him! I am going to get the name of what they think it is... It goes away by its self and asprin is the treatment, Now if after this weekend he is not doing 100% better he has to go and get x-rayed.

I think you should call the breeder after the diagnosis has been made. Make sure it's a genetic problem.. not just an self-induced problem (like due to injury). If it is genetic, then the breeder should know. To then stop breeding the parents and look into if other puppies have the same problem. And also, if it is.. and it requires surgery or other expensive form of treatment.. you can ask the breeder for help. They should have insured the animals health for genetic problems.

Some breeders aren't so good about this though.

poor max, I hope he feels better soon. The aspirin should make him comfortable though. Good luck.

Poor baby Max! I hope he gets well.
Please let us know what they think it is....
I'm thinking of that cute little (big) face.
Give him a SMOOCHER for me!!
If it is a genetic problem definatly tell the
breeder, she'll want to know.
