my big german shepard loves to paw me when I'm sitting at the computer of reading a book. He sticks his big ole' paw up on my leg like hey I'm here!
I'm trying to get him to stop it. I say "no" "Paw down" and I put his paw back on the floor.
Is there anything eles I should do?

Take a coke a 24 oz coke bottle & fill it 1/2 way with gravel or screws. When he puts his paw on you shake it while you tell him "NO" Then say "Paw OFF!" Pick his paw up put it on the ground & praise him if he keeps it on the ground. He will soon get the point "OH Okay Daddy/Mommy doesn't want me to do that."

Another suggestion would be to get something like duct tape, tear off a strip and roll it over on itself with sticky side out. Stick it to your leg where you know he will paw you. After a few times of getting his paw stuck, he'll realize it isn't very fun to paw you.
