Question in heat?

hey

today i took my dogs to the dog park and both of my dogs were acting pretty strange (ill post the other question later) well my hound chloe is usally a social butterfly but the past couple of days shes been really mellow and dosent like going around any other dogs except the puppy...im not really sure but i think she was in heat because their were a couple of labs unaltered that would NOT leave her alone and she got pretty scared...i havent done much reaserch on stuff like this so how can i tell when shes in heat? And should this change her mood any? im getting her spayed in augast so hopefully that will help

How old is she? Most of the time you will notice blood, usually on their bed or where ever they sit the leave a spot of blood behind, the Vulva will aslo be very swollen.
