staffy rescue

Well as some of you may have read in one of my previous posts, I am fighting my local shire to be able to have another dog. Well in one of my many phone calls tonight I found out a staffy was in a shelter due to be put down tomorrow(fri) The same shelter where I picked up my last dog Bundy. I told the lady to find out as much as she can by morning and put a stop for her being put down and I will see if I can find her a home. I rang a local staffy rescue carer, she has 2 homes lined up already. Im so pleased that I could help out. So tomorrow I will be on the phone first thing and making arrangement to get her out to a new home. I just love helping out and saving dogs that deserve a better life.

Great job! It's awesome that you found the staffy a home Too bad more people don't do things like that. Thank goodness for breed rescues!

I know how you feel Lovemelovemedog! I know I cant help all the Dobies, but I really feel good about what I can do. It is very satisfying. In most cases it doesn't take money to help, just a little time, and love.

Keep doing what you are doing.
