Uplanned pregnancy update...

You remember I told you about the person I'd found out about who had the accidental breeding of the Jack Russells? Well I couldn't go (wasn't allowed) to visit and the person I had contact with wouldn't accept anything I said about future breedings etc. He said "3 of her friends have already said they'll take the puppies"

So I see an ad in the local paper, Jack Russell puppies available due to time wasters. I see the bloke and ask the obvious question. She has only managed to find homes for 1 out of the 6 puppies.

This may sound mean but I am secretly pleased about this because this means that she may no longer breed again if she has a difficult time finding homes for them.

Wow that's horrible. People that breed for no reason or continually have accidental breedings deserve a big smack in the face. It's ridiculous and just leads to more unwanted and homeless animals.

Yeah, that is sad. I feel bad for the puppies; it is no fault of their own. I'm glad mine all have homes already. I made sure of that before I even bred my dog.

Just what we needed, more unwanted experimental puppies.

Some times the best teacher is bad experience. Hopefully this makes her think twice about letting it happen again.

I would be glad that this happend. If she made a profit from the puppies she might have been tempted to keep breeding, so this in my mind was a good thing for her, but maybe not the puppies.

Ladida, that is what I thought might have happened since they don't have a lot of money. I don't know if you saw my first post on this but they only discovered she was pregnant when they went downstairs on Sunday morning and she had given birth to them all in the night!

I wanted to see her to try to make her see sense and spay the female but I couldn't. Like you say Dax hopefully this will make her think twice...
