I don't know of any breeders, but if they are in a different state and/or you find them on the interent... ASK A TON OF QUESTIONS!!! Never send a deposit via WesternUnion as majority of the time, if this is what they prefer, it is a scam. I know that's we've had at least one member ger ripped off. Good luck in your search.

Do a lot of research, and don't shop by colour. You want to know everything about living conditions, whelping conditions, breeder's experience, everything about the mom and dad, they're tests and accomplishments...

Look into a cocker spaniel club and collect some breeder's names from there.

"I didn't know that Cocker's came in merle"

They don't. Well, they aren't supposed to. "Breeders" breed for this color because they want to make their "costumors" happy. Not very responsible.

Coopersgirl-- You must be VERY EXTREMELY careful when looking at cocker breeders. I am an owner of seven cockers and everysingle one of them has health problems because we didn't research our breeders. My personal dog, Cocoa, has seizures. Something you REALLY do not want in a dog. Make sure they do HEALTH tests and their dogs are titled in something--whether it be conformation, CGC, TDI, agility, obedience... And that they are NOT CKC registered.

Once you do find that perfect breeder, welcome to the cocker world!
