New Royal Canin food - by breed

My friend, who owns a miniature Dachsund, asked me to post this. She currently feeds her dog Euckanuba adult.
But she just saw at Petsmart they are carrying a new line of food by Royal Canin and it's breed specific. So, there's one just for her breed. Anyone know anything about this new line?

Royal Canin is not a new company. We sell at my hospital. I don't know too much about it, other than it's a good premium quality dog food.

I know the company isn't new, but I think this new line they have of breed specific food is new.

I had Gretta on the GSD formula(Royal Canin) and she did really well for a while. She has a tendency to have really sensitive, itchy skin. The itching seemed to get better for a while then returned so I put her on AvoDerm and she is doing a lot less scratching.

I love what AvoDerm has done for Gretta's coat. It's very shiny and soft. Unfortunately, Sidney has so many allergies, she is on a limited diet of white fish and potato that I get from the vet. I'd love to put her on AvoDerm to see what it would do for her coat, but I dare not. Her reactions are to strong to play around with. But anytime you want to sing the praises of AvoDerm, I'll be right there with you!

I really like the mini poodle stuff for my poo puppy. his tears are clear instead of turning the red like most do (he's a white poo), his hair has wonderful texture and he is of good weight.
