Itchy skin and eyes

Does anyone know of anything thats good for itchy skin I also need something safe to use in or around the eyes

lets see then don't know if you can get it there but there is a shampoo and a spray called corti-care it has cortizone(sp) in it that will releve the itching. For the eyes I might just use a sterile flush to rinse them out and get out the goobers

Thanks I will look it up, I flush her eyes everyday but its not helping

Put 2 Tablespoons of either vegetable oil or canola oil in your dog's food to help against dry/itchy skin.

Some pet stores sell Lipiderm, which could help.

I've also heard that you can slice a couple of lemons and boil it in water. Once it cooled down, you can spray it on the dog.

Shes on an allergin free diet so it cant be that, it comes and goes but its worse than before now

A baking soda bath will help with itchy skin. I agree with the oil and if you can find milled flax of flax oil capsules where you are then try those as well. Flax is full of omega 3 and it awesome for skin and coat.

That's what I was thinking.

Could she be allergic to a laundry detergent you are using, or a cleaner? Maybe a seasonal allergy (Kirby has seasonals, gives him itchy paws)
